The magical Gothic and Born neighbourhoods set the stage for our experience. We will trace the steps of a young Picasso, seeing his first studio, the school where he studied and his lasting legacy on the city. Along the way we will examine the Street Art in the city, visit a local gallery and see some of the most beautiful sites in the Old Town of the city, including the Arc de Triomf and Santa Maria del Mar church.
This tour is like a stroll with an extremely knowledgeable arty friend. Picasso is the protagonist with the city as the supporting role as we cannot understand Picasso and his art without understanding Barcelona’s history and context within Spain.
